Many VEILHINGE pieces are made from 316L stainless steel, selected for its durability, resistance to everyday wear, and ability to hold detailed forms. Selected coin art pieces use silver-plated copper replica coins, allowing intricate imagery to be presented in a substantial, wearable format without representing the piece as an original historical coin.
Depending on the piece, components may be hand-finished or assembled. Because materials and production methods vary, the specifications on each product page provide the most accurate information for that individual design.

How VEILHINGE Began
VEILHINGE began with a personal collection and a long-standing attraction to jewelry with character.
We were drawn to pieces that felt substantial and visually specific: engraved coins, sculptural rings, aged metal surfaces, and symbols that had traveled through history without losing their ability to feel personal. Yet much of the jewelry we encountered fell into two extremes—generic accessories with little identity, or heavily themed pieces that treated a particular aesthetic as a costume or a rulebook.
VEILHINGE grew from the space between them.
We wanted to build a place for symbolic jewelry that could feel distinctive without becoming theatrical, historically aware without becoming academic, and meaningful without telling the wearer what to believe.
The collection continues to evolve, but the principle remains the same:
