The Story
At the center, a serpent coils within a circular frame. Around it, two figures face inward beneath an ornate crest, creating a composition that feels less like a portrait and more like an old emblem whose meaning has survived longer than its explanation.
The serpent has carried countless meanings across cultures and centuries — shedding its skin, disappearing and returning, continually becoming something new.
Here, enclosed within the circle, it becomes a symbol of change that never truly ends.
What It Represents
Transformation
A serpent sheds what it has outgrown and continues forward. It is a natural symbol of transformation — not becoming someone else, but leaving behind what no longer belongs.
Renewal
The shedding of skin gives the serpent its enduring association with renewal. Change is not always an ending; sometimes it is the beginning of another form.
The Cycle
The circular composition reinforces the idea of return: endings becoming beginnings, loss making room for growth, and life moving through cycles rather than straight lines.
