Plague Doctor Coin Pendant

THE STORY

He stands where most people would rather not — beaked mask on, surrounded by twisting branches and skulls, with another beneath his feet. The figure does not retreat from what surrounds him. He simply remains.

Set within an 1881 coin-inspired face, the plague doctor turns historical protective dress into something darker: a figure defined not by the absence of danger, but by the willingness to face it. E PLURIBUS UNUM remains around the border.

WHAT IT REPRESENTS

Protection

The beaked mask recalls historical attempts to create a protective barrier against disease. In this design, it becomes a symbol of keeping your guard when the threat cannot be seen.

Mortality

The surrounding skulls turn the composition into a direct memento mori.

Resolve

The plague doctor stands where others retreat, representing composure in the presence of fear.

Care & Protection

• Keep dry and avoid perspiration. We recommend wearing your pendant over clothing. Remove before showering, swimming, or exercise.

Silver plating may wear over time; moisture and perspiration can accelerate wear and discoloration.
