Born from the fusion of decay and instinct, this piece reimagines the stag beetle as something far more unsettling. A skull emerges beneath a crown of curved horns, while the body fractures into an exposed skeletal frame — part insect, part relic, part unknown.
The upper structure mimics the iconic mandibles of a stag beetle, exaggerated into aggressive, bone-like horns. Beneath it, a biomechanical ribcage unfolds in antique gold, creating a stark contrast against the cold silver skull.
